RE-MOLED MOLE XL CUSTOM SHOW - THE MANIC MINER

Re moled is a resin custom group show being curated by it's creator Kerry Dyer. The show is being hosted at a video game bar - The Loading Bar, so for that reason many of the international artists who were invited to participate have gone with a computer games theme.There's some amazing customs being made, check out the #moleXL or #remoled hash tags on instagram and twitter

I decided to customize mine into The Manic Miner mole..Manic Miner is one of the first games I ever played on a spectrum computer and it's one of the weirdest and hardest too. Mario also got a nod with a hardhat that resembles his own cap.

BRANDISHING THOUGHTS

Painted onto a piece of board from a reclaimed frame, this piece measures 120cm x 48cm and was painted with spray paint and acrylics.Wearing his mask, with a hat that's got a crown who even has his own anonymous mask that's got a crown too..madness!

HIM AGAIN..

This new piece measures 33 x 25 inches and was painted with spray paint and acrylics onto hardboard before being framed. Signed and ready to hang with lots of textures and layers..
